Dr. Dorothy Brown graduated from University of R.I. in 1987 with a degree in Psychology. She specialized in children with school issues, developmental issues and behavioral issues. She started her private practice in 1990 in Tiverton and worked with children, adolescents and adults until the present time. During COVID, she left Tiverton and is now working in Portsmouth and doing telehealth from home two days a week. She is also certified as a yoga teacher and is a proponent of a mind-body approach to mental health. She has an interest in mindfulness and breathwork as well as ADHD and autistic spectrum disorders in adults and in children. She accepts most insurances and is currently taking new patients.
